October 2005

I delivered a Halloween treat a bit early this year...
In mid-October I received a call from a long time client asking if I knew of any striped kittens that he might give his daughter and son. Less than a week later, a tiny stray black kitten wandered into the yard. After a lot of coaxing, a little bowl of milk, and a short drive, there's one less homeless kitten in Worcester, and two very happy kids in Acton! Pepper, as they named her, made big points by immediately crawling up to their shoulders and giving them both a kiss on the neck and nose! They didn't even care that she wasn't striped...so maybe it was more of a Halloween Trick!

... Happy Halloween to all the ghouls, boys and black cats out there! Debi

Taj is on istock photo!!!

As you might remember from one of my previous e-news letters, I am a member of an online stock images community called istockphoto. Aptly called the "designer's dirty little secret" istock is a wonderful resource for very inexpensive, and mostly professional, stock imagery. Images include not only photos and vectors, but also flash templates, preloaders, and some fun animations. In fact you'll see several istockphoto images and effects on my catoliner site... even the running cat, which started out as a animation of a cheetah and of course my photo of my cat Taj !
