If not you, then who?

Who can Participate?

Everyone! We encourage everyone to help with this event, you, your friends, family and co-workers. Involve your children and their school and/or scout troop. The more people we get, the cleaner we can make the valley!

Once again the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will be joining forces with the Blackstone River Watershed Association (www.thebrwa.org), and the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor (www.nps.gov/blac/) for this event. Volunteers will work in partnership with the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor and must register and sign a waiver to become, "Volunteers in Parks", a program sponsored by the National Park Service. As such will will be covered for insurance purposes, and will be allowing the Chamber and the National Parks Service to use your photo in marketing for this event and others of it's kind. See some of the photos from last year's Clean-Up by clicking here. Please join us this year!
Gifts for Volunteers
Gifts for our volunteers have started to come in, including hats with "Volunteers in Parks" embroidered Patches (donated by the National Parks Services), and reuseable fabric Tote/Shopping bags silkscreened with the Annual Art & Wine Festival logo (donated by the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce). (Items available to the first 150 volunteers registered.)

Visit here often to see what other great gifts our volunteers will receive when they sign their "Volunteers in Parks" waivers on April 22!
