Essentials

Comfortable shoes or boots
Heavy leather work gloves
Heavy rubber gloves
Comfortable clothes (note: layering is a good idea as April weather is unpredictable)
Rain Gear
Plenty of drinking water

Optional Items

Replacement shoes or boots (in case your first pair gets wet)
A change of clothes
Warm outerwear for the cookout
Antibacterial moist towelettes
